GRAMMY-award winning singer John Mayer has mouthed off about his sex life yet again, this time spilling the details about sleeping with ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson and referring to his penis as a "white supremacist", the New York Post reported.

After talking about his current fondness for onanism in February's Rolling Stone, in the March issue of Playboy he talks about the sex he used to have.

"Sexually it was crazy," Mayer said.

"It was like napalm, sexual napalm. Did you ever say, 'I want to quit my life and just f***ing snort you? If you charged me $10,000 to f*** you, I would start selling all my s*** just to keep f***ing you.'"

While Mayer had no problem dishing out the dirtiest details of his relationship with Simpson, he used much more respectful, reverent terms when talking about another high-profile ex, Jennifer Aniston.

In addition to denying that Twitter broke the couple up - he's a prolific tweeter and has over three million followers on the micro-blogging site - and admitting that he will always love her, Mayer also got upset thinking about Aniston reading the article.

"I’m now thinking about how bad I would feel if she read this and was like, 'Why are you putting me in an article where you’re talking about someone else? I don’t want to be in your lineage of kiss-and-tells,'" Mayer said.

Later in the piece, the topic naturally turned to John's caddish behaviour, which he defended by saying, "I come on very strong. I am a very … I’m just very. V-E-R-Y. That’s why black people love me."

The Playboy interviewer follows up by asking if black women throw themselves at him. Mayer replied: "I don’t think I open myself to it. My d*** is sort of like a white supremacist. I’ve got a Benetton heart and a f***in’ David Duke c***. I’m going to start dating separately from my d***."

However, after his comments were slammed by bloggers, Mayer turned to Twitter to apologise, saying he had "created a monster".

"And while I'm using today for looking at myself under harsh light, I think it's time to stop trying to be so raw in interviews," he wrote.

His comment about his "white supremacist" penis quickly became one of the top three most popular topics on Twitter.

Katheryn Russell-Brown, director of the Centre for the Study of Race and Race Relations at the University of Florida and author of The Colour of Crime, told US Weekly that Mayer seemed to be saying "black women are not just not his type, they're not in his class. They're beneath him."

Laurie L. Mulvey, co-director of the Race Relations Project at Penn State University told US Weekly: "Both white people and people of color will be offended by Mayer commenting so flippantly about an issue that has caused so much pain in this culture, especially to black women."

The singer, who has worked with rappers Kanye West and Jay-Z, also used a slur against African Americans.

"I am sorry that I used the ('N') word. And it's such a shame that I did because the point I was trying to make was in the exact opposite spirit of the word itself," Mayer said.

"It was arrogant of me to think I could intellectualize using it because I realize that there's no intellectualizing a word that is so emotionally charged," he said, adding he would never use the word again.
