Hi Everyone,
I recently came across a great quote, although I do not know who the author is. It says, “Miracle workers do not concern themselves with what others think of them.”
As expected, God has perfect timing as I’ve been trying to learn more about how to create miracles as well as working on myself to let go of what worries remain about what others may think about me.
I’m well aware that of my own self I do nothing. It all comes from God. But as a child of God, it is His Spirit within me and all that He Is that holds infinite potential within me if I let it. My job is to trust God, let go, and let it flow. In other words, letting go and letting God. One of my personal and professional mottos.
The matter of miracles and trusting God is easier said than done sometimes, but when I’m able to experience those moments, then it sometimes feels like I am a miracle and so is everything and everyone.
The awareness of trusting, letting go, and letting it flow makes it so much easier to work through whatever healing process I’m working through or helping others with.
I found that the following 4 points have been most prevalent in helping me learn how to trust in God:
1) That God will never bring us to something that we cannot also get through.
2) That I know nothing and God knows everything so leaving it in His hands is the easier and wiser thing to do. (Something I learned much more deeply from Dr. Richard Bartlet’s teachings from Matrix Energetics.)
3) That God’s Love for me is infinite and He knows best, so one way or another everything will be alright.
4) And that because of experience, I’ve learned that every time I work through something and let it go, I become stronger, wiser, happier, and more connected with God and others.
Everything happens for a reason. Everything that I’ve been through has been because of His Divine guidance, or else I could not have grown as much as I have. And I thank you, Lord.

Letting go is a conscious decision allowed by the awareness of trust.

Letting it flow is still a matter of trust. Once we let it go, then it’s time to observe and enjoy the show of whatever we are aware of or experiencing, because it is then that the process of His creating is allowed to be.

I continue to work to allow God’s Love flow through me that I may a part of His creative Hand. Like I said, it’s easier said than done. But like anything else, it’s a matter of practice. It’s the practicing that opens the doors to the miracles. And every miracle always makes it worthwhile.

Blessings,
Irene

Hi Everyone,

I went to a Women’s Leadership Symposium the other day for the first time. It was a worthwhile experience in that I learned some great information and met some great people. There were also perceptions that I didn’t agree with, and that was good too.

One of the things I remember the most was about how, in general, women have stronger “likeability” needs than men do. (Whether this is true or not I do not know.) And that as long as we worry about what others think about us or let what others think about us devert us from who we truly are, then we are still giving our power to others.

That hit home and I needed to hear it. I love how God works. His timing is always a miracle in itself. It is God’s Love that created the forces for me to hear what I needed to hear. I’ve been aware that I have concerns about what others think about me, and I’ve been asking our Lord how to break myself free of such concerns. I had not, however, realized that by holding myself back, I was giving power to others. This greater awareness is a huge step in my process of breaking free from these issues and fears of mine. The next step is prayer, since I’m not clear on what’s next in my growth process.

I know to trust in God and let myself be. When you let yourself be, then you are open to the grace and flow of God’s guidance. At least that has been my experience. My challenge is to trust myself to understand how God’s Love guides me and to let go of any guilt that comes up from not feeling “good enough”.

I’m sure none of you have ever felt this way.

So while I know that I’m fine the way that I am and so is everyone else, I deal with old crap just like the rest of us do. But I will not give up, I will learn to Be, and I will Become. I will let myself be open to God’s Love and all of life’s experiences. For that is the only way to feel alive. Anything else is just survival. So I will pray and be open. That is my next step. And I will take the one after that and so on.

How about you? What is your next step?

Are you going to take it?

Is the alternative better, or is the alternative the same old stuff?

I guess it comes down to what do you want and what are you ready for?

Whatever God has brought us to, God has also given us the power to get through it. And we will. It is by the nature of God’s Love that He will bring us to that which we will get through.

That works for me.

Thank you, Lord.

Blessings,

Irene

Just as it’s never wrong to care, it is also never wrong to trust in God. He will never betray us. But understanding what that all means can be challenging, or at least it may seem that way. When we truly listen to God, we develop a calmness and peace in our decisions. But it’s not something that tends to come automatically. Learning to trust in God is a skill that comes with practice, just like anything else. The beauty is that when we ask our Lord for the ability to trust, then things happen that teach and guide us in that direction. We learn to trust because He provides us with the experiences we need to learn that skill.

I had many examples of how I could trust in God when I was a child, but I didn’t know it. I was raised in an non-religious environment. I believed in God and thought He was great, but I didn’t really have any idea who He was. It’s only been recently that I’ve learned some of how He works and shares His love. When I was 36, God dropped an opportunity in my lap that turned me around inside. As our family was dealing with the death of my father-in-law (a wonderful man), I realized that we needed to do some preventative care to ward off the ill effects of all the stress we were under. I explored different healing modalities and tried craniosacral therapy. For some reason I thought it was reflexology of the head. Obviously, I hadn’t a clue what it was, but I loved it and decided that I wanted to learn it before the end of the year. This was summer of 02 and I forgot all about it. Two months later, I got a magazine in the mail that I should not have gotten and in it was an ad for craniosacral classes coming to my town in two months. I took the hint, took the class, and absolutely fell in love with it. I changed schools and completed the 3 year, 700 hour Biodynamic Craniosacral Course. It, along with my family and God, has saved me. It was God’s Hand guiding me. I used to be afraid of the world. If I felt threatened, my reaction used to be to hide. Now I can stand up for myself. Now I know who I am and what I believe. Now I know that I can trust God to guide me because no matter what happens, He is my perfect parent. He will not let fall without being there to brush the dirt off my knees, apply the ointment to my scrapes, and give me a reassuring hug. No matter what, one way or another, everything will be ok. That is the nature of the All knowing infinite Love that Is. If I have questions, it doesn’t matter. God knows the answer. So when I turn to Him, when I trust in Him, I am free. I have nothing to worry about because I allow myself to ride the Hand of all the power there is. With God for me, who can be against me? (Romans 8:31)

Now I’m not saying that I don’t ever worry or get stressed. I am saying that I don’t experience these things the same way I did years ago. Now, the worry and the stress do not feel as intense, nor do they last as long. I am aware when I am worrying or stressed, and have trained myself in the skills of letting go and letting God. So now, even when I feel stressed or worried, I hold it in my awareness like an observer watching the waves of the ocean shore gently moving in and out. As I do this, it is easy to remember my faith and trust in God’s plan and process for me. I appreciate and have at times been joyous at some of the challenges and stresses in my life. I understand that it is through these challenges that I can grow.

That is one reason why we can trust God. He gives us our challenges so that we may grow. Without growth, there is only stagnation or decay. Without love, there is nothing. God provides us with challenges and opportunities so that we may grow in His likeness of love. He loves us so much, that he allows us to experience pain and difficulties according to what we need to grow as we need. We may not understand it. We may not understand our Lord. We may be ticked off at our Lord. All that is ok. He understands. But we can trust that He knows what is best for us. His is the infinite wisdom. Whenever I’ve allowed myself to accept that, healing occurs and I am strengthened every time. So I trust and am still learning to trust. The skill continually deepens as trusting in Him and His handiwork always deepens the healing and empowerment within me.

If trust is a difficult thing for you, don’t worry. Just decide if you would like to learn how to trust, and then ask God for his help. Then let it go and let yourself be. Give God some time to work His magic. If you feel too afraid to ask for his help in this matter, don’t worry. Take it one step earlier and ask for the wanting to want ask for help. I have done this and something always happens that helped me to then ask for the help that I wanted. So consider asking yourself what you want. Do you want to be able to trust so that you can know a peace, calmness, and grace within yourself beyond what you know now? Or do you want to stay where you are now? Then consider trusting God to lead you to what you want. It all comes from our Creator. What we need to do is ask of Him what we want Him to create for us. And then let Him.

Blessings,
