Hi Everyone!

Back in the mid 90′s I went to bed one night asking God what it meant to be One. I understand that we are all One, but back then I didn’t understand it.

That night I dreamed the word polarity over again and again. And as I dreamed it, it held the sense of the polarity of water. I looked it up the next day and saw a diagram of how each atom attaches to another showing no end and no beginning. Each water molecule having it’s individuality depending on its shared unification with the other. In other words, if one water molecule broke apart from the rest, the adjoining water molecule would no longer exist as water because it would be missing part of it’s hydrogen and oxygen atoms.

Is there anything else that explains what it means to be One as well as water?

The only thing that comes to mind is love. When our hearts are filled with love, we feel whole. When we are empty, we hurt and are not our true selves as God designed us to be.

When we have connection at the heart with each other, we are strengthened. We care and listen to each other and want what’s best for each other. When we are feeling separated, biased against, or prejudicial, then we feel frustration, fear, and indignation. Separation is the root or our problems that lead to fear, loneliness, low self-esteem, and hate.

But when we let ourselves realize that our sense of separation is not of God, and therefore not what we want to encourage ourselves to continue experiencing, then we can begin to reconnect. This separation that we feel from our fellow man, animal, or any life is a form of ignorance. If we knew better, we would hold the loving connection like Jesus did. To work toward the Christ Consciousness we must open our hearts and minds. We must want to connect. It’s all about what’s in one’s heart. The heart holds the true prayer. Connect with your heart to connect as One. Connect with your heart to connect to God. The more connected I am to God, the more connected I will be to you, and vice versa. Jesus said to love God and everyone. We are all One. This awareness embodies the Christ Consciousness. I continue to pray for this awareness to fill me. The journey and lessons have been exciting and challenging, but always worth it.

There have been many times that I wanted to feel or be a certain positive way because it has been part of my belief system that that’s what I’m supposed to be like. But my heart wasn’t feeling it. So I began one step back. I asked God to help me to want to want such feelings and awareness. It may sound silly, but it was the step I needed. It never took long for the truly wanting of something better to take hold. It usually took a couple hours to a couple of days. It is only when we can be aware of and accept our ignorance that we can begin to learn more. And it is only when we can embrace our ignorance that we can begin to learn Truth.

Whenever we assume we know something, we effectively close a door that God has available for us. When we embrace our ignorance we have the awareness that all the answers we want and need come from our Lord. We become joyous in our openness to Truth.

Here is the blessed door to connecting on new levels and greater depths. It is the door God has open to all of us. How would you like to grow? How much love or forgiveness would you like to know? What does your heart tell you? Is it ready to open to Jesus’ Love, or is it holding a hurt so bad that it is unwilling to open up? Either way, just ask God what the first step is. Settle yourself into a relaxed state, take numerous gentle deep breaths watching your breath go into and out of your body. Pray to God your heart knowing He Loves you unconditionally and infinitely. Relax with your intent on being open to God and how He would like to express His Love to you. Open your mind and heart to what God has to say to you. Wait and listen. Awareness can come quickly or after many minutes. Sometimes there may not seem to be an answer or just a sense of “wait” or “don’t worry”.  Whether you are given an awareness or not at the time of mediprayer, you can know that God has heard and the forces are in motion to answer your prayers. By the nature of His Love He will be there for you if you ask. It is your choice that calls Him to help or tells Him to go away.

I choose to call upon Him. I hope it is yours also. Not because I want you to be like me, but because I know how good it feels to feel connected. I want that awareness for you, too.

Blessings,

Irene

This is just what I needed to read today! Thank you – I guess I found this through my prayer.
