So I’ve been in a thoughtful mood recently and here’s one of the musings I’ve been having. Thought you might enjoy.

Everything and everyone is connected. Everything is in a constant state of dynamics. So as we elevate ourselves, those around us also elevate after some time that the dynamic forces at work have been allowed to manifest. If we don’t properly care for ourselves, then as we are “down”, that energy will tend to create the dynamics to bring those around us “down”. It tends to depend on which energy is stronger at the time.

Recall a time when you were feeling pretty good, then you come home and someone else there is in a foul mood. Did they take it out on you somehow? Did you let it get to you? Did it affect you somehow?

Most likely it did. The same is with the reverse. It comes down to A) how present we are to be able to see what’s going on and then take the time to decide how do deal with it, or B) if we are not present and we tend to react instead of observe and decide. When we are present, we become aware of our choices. We have the power to choose how we want to deal with it.

It goes along what Eleanor Roosevelt said. She said, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” That is one of my favorite quotes, and it’s true. There have been many times that someone has said something negative to me and it then brought me down. That is, I let it. Why? Ignorance. I didn’t know who I was and how it is God’s Spirit and God’s Love within me that is the true me.

I know that all pain expressed comes from pain felt. So I hold to the awareness that if the negative person wasn’t in the kind of pain they were in, then what they said or did would have been different. And it would have been positive, because their pain would not have blocked the path of God’s Spirit from shining through.

And I pray to God to help me continue to grow in that awareness that I may know it in myself and others. What better way to begin to help others than to see God, His Spirit and His Love as each person’s essence?

Resource Tip: Presence (being grounded/in the now/centered) is key to healing and awareness. I was speaking to a friend today who seemed to have little understanding of exactly what intuition is. As I tried to explain it to him, I realized that my communication of it was inefficient. I know what it is and how to recognize it. But I’ve been developing it for so long now that I almost forgot what it was like before I began my training and I’m not sure how to explain it. Here goes attempt #1.

I’m well aware that the expression of intuition comes in many forms, i.e. gut feelings, visions, sensing when one decision is better than another without knowing why, etc. But the bottom line is that it is the communication of the Holy Spirit to us. Our sensing or “hearing” that communication is our sixth sense awareness.

As God’s children, we are spirit and inseparable from Him. It is God’s Love, the Infinite Consciousness that He Is, that makes it impossible for us to be separate from Him. Any sense of separation is an illusion and the reason for our pain.

But when we open ourselves to hearing Him, we open ourselves to All that He Is. That includes His guidance and messages that we can experience in so many ways. Gut feelings, instincts, dreams, visions, and sensing things that are intangible but real are all examples of the Holy Spirit letting us know something that is helpful if we listen.

Most of us can probably remember a time when someone told us something and it didn’t feel right. We couldn’t put our finger on it, but something just didn’t feel right. Then we find out sometime down the road that the person lied. Where does that sensation of something not feeling right come from?  It is God’s Spirit within us that is our life. Without It there is no life. Of our own selves we do nothing. It all comes from God as we are infinitely connected as One and His Love provides us the touch of the Holy Spirit. Our intuition. Our connection between the physical/limited awareness and the spiritual and unknown.

I think my friend is much more intuitive than he realizes. I think, rather I feel/sense that his lack of awareness is more about not knowing how to identify or be aware that many of the things he knows are intuition. He simply hasn’t been taught intuitive awareness. If and when he does learn intuitive awareness, he’s going to know a great empowerment and feel like he’s been invited to a party with God. It’s going to be a lot of fun! I know. I’m still there.

Let’s be open to hearing God by allowing our intuition to grow. Then more of us can party. The more the merrier!

As it is the season where goals and plans are made and refined, I’ve been reading some postings about what other people are saying are their goals. Since our goals are always positive (no one ever says I want to be miserable), I wondered about the numerous reasons that they sometimes lack fruition. And wondered, “How can I help?”

When we get negative on ourselves, listening to the same old negative crap that our subconscious tell ourselves, we bring ourselves down. The energy to bring ourselves up now needs to be doubled. We need the energy/positivity to bring ourselves back to our “normal selves” or base point, and then the energy/positivity to push ourselves even higher. That’s hard ass work! It becomes all too easy to let ourselves feel down, and thus the excuses for not accomplishing start to gain momentum. (Been there, done that. Still learning to break some “bad” thinking habits.)

That happens when we rely on ourselves as a sense of self, instead of having a sense of Self as one united with God.

Can you imagine the power and potential within you if you were to let the power of God flow through you? God’s Love is the infinite power. Within you there is no limit except that which you impose upon yourself because it is God’s Spirit that is within you.

When we ask for something, God may say “Yes”, “Not now”, or “I have something better in mind”. But when we request of Him, He does not say no. God’s Love cannot deny us our growth and development. It’s why we are His children. God’s Love cannot deny us support and encouragement. He is the Perfect Parent. God is infinite and all Its abundance is what He wants for us. But we must look “up” for it, not “down”. No one is ever brought up by being held down.

So why do we hold ourselves down?

The question is rhetorical. One way or another, it always comes down to fear or anger.

The answer to the problem, however, is practical. Either choose the positive thoughts that can make or let it happen, or choose the negative thoughts that stop you from being and becoming as Spirit knows you can be. We always have the power of choice and to choose. As children of God, we have the power to cocreate our reality. I know that much of the talk out there right now is about we having the power to create our reality, and that is true. But of our own selves we do nothing. All our power is from God, the Infinite Consciousness of Love that Is.

Surrendering to God is not about relinquishing power. It is about letting the power of God flow through you. Be open to that and let yourself experience the power of God’s Love flowing through you. Let yourself be open to knowing that we are not separate from God and each other, but always infinitely connected as it is God’s Spirit that is the lifeforce in everyone of us. Be open to oneness with God and let the Truth, Power, and Love that Be also become one with you. With your intent set on being one with God and opening yourself to His truth, then you are open to the truest and most powerful guidance and force. How then, can anything (other than yourself) stop you from accomplishing anything you want and becoming who you want?

Here’s what I want for this year (not in any order):

To apply my awareness into action unlike I ever have before and grow my business where I reach and help so many people that the miracle elevates us to a whole new level of awareness.

To let go of my ego and what’s left about worrying about what people may think about me.

To see financial freedom in sight at the very least.

To be able to help my husband retire.

To know what it means through all of me to have God as my Partner.

To complete my certification in Matrix Energetics. To continue to grow as one with God.

To establish momentum in my purpose to help people Self-realize.

To learn the business side of my business more efficiently.

To be there for and elevate my family, friends and others as needed and when needed.

To help my eyes, hip, and cranial base to resolution.

To have excellent timing.

To do the scorpion (yoga pose)

To know and Be.

What do you want in God’s name? What do you want that comes from the purity of your heart? Invite a partnership with God, then go for it! Remember to take time to listen often to His guidance. It’s not a partnership unless you are working together. And He knows more than you. I’d listen to Him as often as possible if I were you.  Come from a place of stillness (Psalm 46:10) and open yourself to listening while holding the intent of being open to our Lord. Come from a place of stillness and tune into what feels right. Don’t let your ego get in the way. Remember, He’s your Partner. He succeeds when you succeed. He just wants to guide you to that success.

Merry Christmas!

I was remembering what a gentleman shared at at the first Millionaire Mind Intensive I attended.  (I love Peak Potentials.  http://www.peakpotentials.com/new/ ) He was a Christian and was torn between how he was raised to believe that we’re supposed to be “poor” because of something that was in the Bible, and how what Peak Potentials made sense about the more wealth we have, the more we can then share and make the world a better place.

I felt for him because his pain was obvious and I held him in my heart. I’m sure we all did. So I held him in my heart and let it go into God’s Hand. I don’t know what happened to him, except that I’m sure the new awareness planted a seed that would help him grow in new and better ways. Amen.

Isn’t that the best gift that we can give someone? Holding someone in our heart and letting it go into God’s Love and Truth can be a powerful seed for someone’s soul. The developer and teacher of Matrix Energetics, Dr. Richard Bartlett ( http://www.matrixenergetics.com/ ) shares something in his newest book, The Physics of Miracles that feels so right. He mentions that “…it is somewhat sad that we continue to limit our interactions with others to the realm of the merely human. We are the Door to the Divine, not the Doer.”  Within each one of us, the world, the universe, and the unknown are billions, trillions, and infinite complex processes and interactions. As Dr. Richard Bartlett so brilliantly put it, how are we supposed to keep track of all that?  Wouldn’t it be easier to let God keep track of it for us and guide its interaction for us? Wouldn’t it be easier to let ourselves be His Door and be open to new and infinite possibilities as opposed to being only one door as ourselves? As I’ve shared with many, with God all things are possible and that the only limits that exist are those which we impose upon ourselves.

Imagine opening the heart to the unknown. Imagine the abundance and Truth of God’s Love being allowed to pour within and throughout us the more and more we can let go and let God. It is only by letting go and being open that we can be receptive to His Gifts. Otherwise, our preconceived beliefs and perceptions create a wall that limit us to those frameworks. How much more will God do for us if we let Him and allow ourselves to get out of our own way? That is not necessary for us to answer, but to be open to all that God Is is so we don’t limit ourselves. Focused intent on what we want is good, but the how and the extent to what that can entail might be best left in His unlimited Hands.

Let go, be open, let His Truth fill you, then follow your heart.

Holding this in our heart might be the best gift we can give ourselves and others this Christmas. The more open the heart, the more love can be received. And the more love we hold for others, the more we can affect them in a positive way. Afterall, isn’t the Love that Jesus gave us what Christmas is about?

I got back last week from Matrix Energetics level 1 and 2. It was an incredible and fun weekend. I’m still trying to grasp and learn all there there is. Just as important as the learning something “new” is also the unlearning outdated beliefs and paradigms. Anyone can do it and I so recommend it. Check out matrixenergetics.com or Dr. Richard Bartlett for more info. It is basically having the awareness of quantum physics in the healing process and in our everyday lives.

I know that while it can be done with someone present or not, i.e. over the phone, I wonder if it can be done over the computer. So I will say a prayer and spend a few minutes letting come into my awareness what comes, and then I will let it go. And if you like, you can let me know if you notice anything.
I will write out the experience both so you may follow along with this particular experience, and to help integrate the process into my right and left brain.

Prayer

The question, “What is my intent?” comes through.

Answer: “To help people feel grounded and relaxed upon reading this.”

“Proceed.”

There was a sense of a swirling motion between myself and the computer. It was a good feeling swirling. It felt watery and happy. Then there was a sense of great busyness right in front of the monitor and a sense of poison in my mouth. I spit it out and I then felt a lightness and a sense of field of light eminating from my center. I then let it go into the infinite possibilities of God’s Love and Hand.

I’m curious how this experiment works out for us. Feel free to let me know if you notice anything.

Because we are energy/spirit, change is instantaneous when working with the morphic fields. Sometimes we are not aware of anything at all, and that’s ok. It commonly just means that the forces are in motion to help with what we need, and that sometime in the near future things will begin to happen in our favor/as we need them to.

During the third day of class, we were working with what are called the frequencies. I went into a frequency that moved me to move into yoga positions. Being with the energy fields, I went into a standing back bend for the first time in my life and then followed further into an advanced backbend called the diamond. I have never been able to do that before. There was no pain or discomfort. It felt great. I was a little sore the next day is all. I saw others who do not do yoga also go into yoga positions. This was just one of the many types of experiences that can happen just by allowing ourselves to be one with the Spirit that holds us, guides us, and loves us. God’s Love is infinite, and this awareness has been a great way to help me become even closer with Him. Maybe it can for you to if you decide you want to try it. Plus, it’s a lot of fun. In fact, the more we allow ourselves to be silly and like children, the easier it is to do this. Maybe this is what Jesus meant when He said to be like the children.

I’ve made a decision.

Most of us know that negative attitudes keep us down and positive attitudes lift us up. And I have been struggling with my desire to grow my business, be domestic, homeschool, grow myself, and never seem to have enough time to do it all. I’ve asked myself where can I have more time and there’s not much leeway. I have complained in my mind and out loud a several times over the past several months. But I’ve been trying not too because I’ve been trying to break myself of that limiting mindset. I’ve been trying to figure out how to break free of feeling overwhelmed and still be able to get everything done that I want, need, and should.

As a child of God, I am a cocreator in His plan. Because of God’s Love, I am given free will and the power of choice. So I have decided, rather, I have chosen that I will have it all. God wants me to know abundance, so ok, I accept. I will be true to who I am and as God guides me. If He has put into my heart that I want to do all these things, then I will. God does not make a path for me that I cannot travel (Ephesians 3:20). So I have the full support of God’s Love to help me. My dominating thoughts on the matter are no longer “I don’t see how I can do this”, but now they are “Ok, Lord. What’s next? I feel drawn this way, so lead the way and show me how it’s done.”

I have reframed my perspective. In doing so, I no longer feel “can’t” but instead feel “Yes, I can.” With which attitude do you think I’m going to be more efficient, productive, and happier? Can you apply similar principles to something going on in your life? What recurring negative thoughts do you have that you might be able to reframe?

Call on God’s Love to guide you how to reframe something and let it become a liberating and empowering experience. After all, if you knew how to rise above your challenge, you would have already done so. God knows what you need. Call on our Lord and know that because of God’s Love, you will be heard and answered, although not necessarily in the way you may expect. Be open and trust. Let yourself be open to listening to the Truth held in God’s Love.

Remember, Love is all that matters and God’s Love is all that we want. Opening yourselves to that will bring you more of what you want.

As I’ve been trying to grow myself, I have felt myself in a loop and feeling frustration. I handled it gracefully, and still am, but it’s been a challenging couple of months that is still being experienced. Only now I’ve made a little headway and feel like I’ve broken through the loop and now need to let myself ride the wave.

I have been frustrated trying to figure out what I need to do to grow my business to the height that I envision for it. Everything and everyone in the expert field says that I have to have clarity or a goal before I can move forward. I have had a strong sense of direction, but I’ve been lacking in clarity, assuming I’m understanding what they all mean by it. I kept thinking that I had to know exactly what I was going to do (i.e. marketing tactics), but nothing was clear. I have been struggling between how I think I’m supposed to do things and how to just be me to a truer depth that I wasn’t even aware of. I’ve always been a sincere and increasingly intuitive person. So the awareness that I have a deeper layer of my being that has not been expressed surprised me. I wasn’t aware that I’ve been dealing with the issue of how to just be me to an even truer sense until recently. I’ve had the issue of worrying whether I did something right or wrong and of not being good enough. So I have forgotten some of who I really am. And who I really am is a child of God. The depth of just what that means is what I’m currently exploring.

So I did some deep mediprayer and it came to me to just write and not worry about the rest right now. The more my purpose aligns with God, the more the pieces will come together when the time is right. I don’t need to know everything. I just need to do as Spirit within me moves me and let it all flow. I am at new beginnings of growth and learning who I am. I find it empowering and challenging. Thank you, Lord.

So here’s the interesting things that I received clarity on as I began to break through my loop. I let myself be open to receiving His Love and wisdom. And God’s Love helped me to understand to a deeper layer that God is in control, so I don’t need to worry. I let myself be open and felt how since God is in control, then I am in His Hands and so things are perfect, because it is all part of God’s perfect plan. So I can let myself be the spirit within me. It is then that I am one with God.

God’s Love always guides true. Being able to understand that guidance can be the challenge. But because God loves us, it is His Spirit that touches our hearts and guides us to grow, build and become in beautiful ways to express His Love. Being created in the image of God’s Love is about each of us becoming His finger to help and elevate each other. I assume the simplest (althought not necessarily easiest) way to do that is to let it happen.

Let yourself be who God created you to be. Let yourself see yourself as God sees you. As His child you are infinite and loved infinitely. With His spirit within you, you are powerful. Does it make any sense to see ourselves as anything less than capable to do great things and know great abundance? After all, this is what our Lord wants for us. So why not let it?

When we go against our true selves, we are going against God. That’s what makes life so hard. When we let ourselves be open to God’s Love and guidance, we create an alignment and partnership with the Hand that makes everything right, fluid, and the best it can be.

It’s quite an adventure. Let’s have fun with it.

I have been working on matters of the heart and am aware that I still hold issues about worrying what other people think of me. While it’s not nearly as much of an issue as it used to be, I’ve realized that I’m still holding myself back.

Ouch. That can’t be good. God created me uniquely to share what only I can share in the way that only I can, just like He did you. So as I work through what remains of this issue, here’s some of what I’m aware of so far. Hopefully it will help you also.

As I prayed on the matter yesterday and let myself be open to the guidance of God’s Love, I received the following awareness: To release my fear about worrying what other people think of me, I only need to fill my heart with love. The more love I feel, the less room for my fears.

I have felt this experience to varying degrees at different times in my life and know that it is true. So I’ve been using that awareness while I work to remember how I used to feel during times when I felt more love, understanding, and acceptance, in spite of the hardships that were tossed my way. I am working to remember who I am and using resources such as the Bible, Joel Osteen, Glenda Green, my mediprayer with God, and others. I am working to let my heart be open all the time. It’s not easy, but it feels soooo right when I’ve “got it”.

And It’s working.

Where we put our focus and faith is that which is and shall be.

I look forward to the growth I will go through. And I look forward to helping you grow also. Afterall, my life purpose is about Self-realization, my own and others. And what better place to start than at the heart of it all, the heart of the soul.

I went to a Women’s Leadership Symposium the other day for the first time. It was a worthwhile experience in that I learned some great information and met some great people. There were also perceptions that I didn’t agree with, and that was good too.

One of the things I remember the most was about how, in general, women have stronger “likeability” needs than men do. (Whether this is true or not I do not know.) And that as long as we worry about what others think about us or let what others think about us devert us from who we truly are, then we are still giving our power to others.

That hit home and I needed to hear it. I love how God works. His timing is always a miracle in itself. It is God’s Love that created the forces for me to hear what I needed to hear. I’ve been aware that I have concerns about what others think about me, and I’ve been asking our Lord how to break myself free of such concerns. I had not, however, realized that by holding myself back, I was giving power to others. This greater awareness is a huge step in my process of breaking free from these issues and fears of mine. The next step is prayer, since I’m not clear on what’s next in my growth process.

I know to trust in God and let myself be. When you let yourself be, then you are open to the grace and flow of God’s guidance. At least that has been my experience. My challenge is to trust myself to understand how God’s Love guides me and to let go of any guilt that comes up from not feeling “good enough”.

I’m sure none of you have ever felt this way.

So while I know that I’m fine the way that I am and so is everyone else, I deal with old crap just like the rest of us do. But I will not give up, I will learn to Be, and I will Become. I will let myself be open to God’s Love and all of life’s experiences. For that is the only way to feel alive. Anything else is just survival. So I will pray and be open. That is my next step. And I will take the one after that and so on.

Whatever God has brought us to, God has also given us the power to get through it. And we will. It is by the nature of God’s Love that He will bring us to that which we will get through.

Back in the mid 90′s when I was recovering from my trauma and hospitalization, I was walking through the neighborhood deep in thought and connection with God. As I walked the words “What do you want?” came to me. These words have been a basic foundation of my healing process and clarity of direction.

Whenever I would start to feel lost and unclear about direction or decision, and I had been praying for His guidance, then at some point I would hear or feel the words, “What do you want?” It still comes into my awareness exactly when I need it.

Just like with anything goal in life, we need to know what our goal is to focus ourselves in that direction and make it happen. It is the same for anything, really. I need to ask myself, “What do I want” for clarity of purpose, direction, goals, personal desires, and personal growth. Since it worked for me, I’m sure that there are many others that it can also help.

And it’s not a selfish thing as long as there is no malicious intent. What I want may be a receiving desire and/or a giving desire. Neither is right or wrong, better or worse, because when I help myself I am also resourcing myself to help others. What matters is that we are honest with ourselves.

Many times we tend to get wrapped up in how we think we’re supposed to be, that we forget who we are or what our dreams were. I know that I have made many mistakes about listening to my preconceived notions and expectations instead of listening to my heart. Therein lies the key. The heart and heart of the soul are what tend to hold our passions, purpose, and dreams. It’s the Holy Spirit touching us. (The Holy Spirit communicates with us through our body sense. That will be in another post.) And when we act in alignment with those passions and purposes, then we become the Finger of God manifest. It begins with us asking ourselves, “What do I want?” and answering it honestly and in a positive framework.

For example, say there is someone at work that is making your life very difficult. As you ask yourself the question “What do I want?”, you might find yourself answering that you want them fired. What if you framed the answer as a positive solution such as, “I want him to learn what he needs so he’ll not need to be such a jerk, but instead more helpful.” This is something that you might be able to help with. Does the person need a compassionate shoulder or does the person need to be stood up to and told point blank what the deal is? Our choices create our reality. That’s why first knowing what we want and then deciding the best way (in alignment with God) to get it is the growing process.

Honesty is key. Getting trapped in how we think we’re supposed to be instead of being true to ourselves is like trying to grow a tree by planting a rock. The message does not get through and true beauty lies dormant. And so the guidance of the Holy Spirit is also blocked from getting through. There are people who may try or pretend to be positive and helpful because they think that’s how they’re supposed to be. But in reality, they are angry. God gave us our feelings for a reason. They are tools for us to learn from. If you are angry, be aware of it. Notice it like an observer. Ask yourself, “Do I want to be angry or do I want to have this issue resolved?” Trust the process of learning. If you are honest with yourself and you find that you want to be angry, then be aware of that. Let yourself experience your anger. That does not mean lash out and cause others to be angry or harmed. It means to sit back and observe your anger. Be with it. If need be, push ups, jumping jacks, or other vigorous exercise might help. The key is to be its observer. Don’t “be” the anger. Your spirit is of God. Let your spirit hold the awareness that this is an experience that will also pass.

And pass it will. When we let ourselves be with our experience, then it’s like when we listen to a friend tell us their troubles. We listen, they vent, and things move on to the next step.

In my experience, the next step will be the honest wanting of resolution. When we let ourselves be the observer of our experience, it moves through us like a train going by. We are aware of its power as we watch it go by, but since we are watching it and not on the tracks, it can’t hurt us. Once it passes by, we are free to cross or walk the track.

So by observing our anger we learn how to have the time and space to make choices that we want instead of reacting to our situation as though we have no control. This is key to self-growth because in order to grow we must know in what direction we want to grow in. We need to have awareness of our choices available to us so we can make the best decision for ourselves. But before our decision, our heart begs the question, “What do I want?”

As loving friends, we do not turn our backs on friends who ask for our help or a listening ear. Why then do so many of us turn our backs on our own hearts?

I hope this awareness of mine helps you in some way. Either way, I will keep asking myself what I want.
